Service and Referral

At no cost to the participants, older adults receive the following:service

  • Comprehensive assessment
  • Weekly support from social work interns who have passed a back ground check
  • Opportunities for social engagement and outings
  • Address intergenerational family needs spanning many different cultural backgrounds
  • Education about disease prevention and health promotion
  • Link and or refer to community resources
  • Assist in navigating Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care systems

 REFERRAL FOR CLIENTS

The eligibility requirements to participate in the Goodwill Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) program include:

  • 65+ years old
  • Live independently in a home or an apartment
  • Live in Salt Lake County
