Elevate Academy is a co-ed, residential treatment program for adolescents specializing in trauma, mood disorders, adoption and attachment issues, and other similar diagnoses.  Students in Elevate Academy have faced adverse experiences that have negatively impacted their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.  We strive to therapeutically build our students' confidence and resiliency, empowering them to take charge of a thriving future!

We currently seek to hire a dynamic Therapist!  The incumbent will proactively seek the best therapeutic tools through a trauma lens.  We look for a candidate who is innovative and forward-thinking, ready to roll up their sleeves to expand on effective, data-driven treatment to help our students find long-term success!  We are open to hiring for either full-time or part-time hours, and seek a dedicated, resourceful Therapist!

Salary: $65,000
 
Schedule: 
  • Exempt.  Full-time or part-time caseload hours available.
  • We are open to coordinating a work schedule that fits best for you, while fulfilling caseload responsibilities efficiently!
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Primary Therapist for assigned caseload of up to 8 students, if full-time.
  • Provide intense assessment and specific treatment planning in collaboration with parents, students, and a Treatment Team – taking ownership of the Master Treatment Plans to lay out goals and objectives.
  • Provide 1 hour of individual therapy and 1 hour of family therapy weekly for each student and provide crisis intervention, as needed.
  • Plan and conduct group therapy twice weekly.
  • Lead weekly Treatment Team meetings to plan and coordinate the therapeutic needs and goals/objectives of each student on caseload, and ensure these plans are being followed as indicated.
  • Effectively communicate with parents/guardians and associated professionals in a timely and situation-based manner – keeping them informed of significant events or changes.  Assist parents and other family members to become involved in their child’s treatment and care.
 
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Practiced knowledge and understanding of complex trauma, with familiarity of proven clinical theories and applications for treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, reactive attachment disorder, substance abuse, adoption, etc.
  • Management and teaching skills to lead Treatment Team meetings effectively.
  • Excellence in flexibility and adaptability to handle “curve balls” in treatment.
  • Good computer skills, with ability to learn and utilize the company’s internal technical tools.
  • A learning mindset, always seeking to improve and develop.
Qualifications:
  • Completed Master's Degree in a mental health field (i.e., Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, etc.).
  • Completed Utah license (LCSW, CSW, CMHC, ACMHC, MFT, AMFT, etc.).
  • Previous therapy experience with the adolescent population and families highly desired.
  • Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
