Research Assistant

The Division of Epidemiology with the PARCKA team is hiring a research assistant to work on a qualitative research project (with additional research opportunities). The position would be half-time (~20 hours/week). The research assistant (RA) will assist in conducting interviews and focus groups with patients and researchers who were part of a clinical trial on treatments for pregnant patients with opioid use disorder. The RA will assist in analyzing transcripts of the interview and focus group sessions using modified grounded theory methodology. No prior experience with qualitative research is necessary. The selected RA will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills due to the nature of qualitative research and the potential difficulty of the subject area. This position is currently anticipated to last for approximately one year.
