College of Social Work-funded Practicum Opportunities
Katie L. Dixon Women & Girls Leadership Fund
This privately-funded College of Social Work program provides young women with fun, age-appropriate, engaging, in-school programming focusing on self-esteem, skill-development, mentoring, and leadership. Due to limited funding, this is a competitive application process for BSW and MSW students in school-based practicum placements. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Caring for Older Adults Experiential Scholarships
These College of Social Work scholarship opportunities, which are funded by the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation, provide funding to students participating in the Neighbors Helping Neighbors practicum or in any practicum placement focused on working with older adults. If you fit this criteria, please contact Regina Campbell (Regina.Campbell@socwk.utah.edu) to be considered for this scholarship funding. Students are required to apply to the College’s general scholarship application by April 6th to be considered for this scholarship.
