Project Description:

Research Question: how do adolescent wilderness therapy program participants evaluate their program experience more than five years after program completion?

Dr. Joanna Bettmann Schaefer will work in collaboration with a doctoral student in social work in order to conduct interviews with wilderness therapy program graduates (at least 5 years post-program completion).

Did you attend a wilderness therapy program as a teen? If you did, would you like to share your experiences with us? If your experiences were positive, negative, or anywhere in between, we would like to hear about them. The interview will be 30-40 minutes long and will take place over Zoom.
