Project Description:
This project addresses a significant gap in the availability of validated dating and sexual violence screening instruments for college students. By implementing screening and providing resources, the project aims to increase help-seeking rates and improve outcomes for students affected by dating and sexual violence. The findings will inform the best practices for dating and sexual violence screening and will support future efforts to validate the instrument on a national scale. Additionally, the project aims to utilize pilot data to secure future federal funding, specifically from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, to expand and validate the screening instrument nationwide.
