Readiness of Practicum Supervisors to Support BSW/MSW students in Suicide Prevention, Intervention, & Postvention

Description: BSW/MSW students are likely to interact during practicum with clients with disabilities who are also more likely to experience suicidal ideation and attempts than people without disabilities. Supervisors are often responsible for providing guidance regarding suicide prevention, intervention, and post-intervention strategies. This presentation discusses supervisors’ readiness to provide such education.
