Description: Sex trafficking is a public health issue that affects people across all regions and economic backgrounds. Approximately 28 million people are trafficked globally including 6.3 million individuals for the purpose of forced commercial sexual exploitation. The purpose of this research study was to identify barriers and facilitators for engaging survivors of sex trafficking, especially those who use substances, in health-related services.
