Description: Aftercare is crucial for survivors of sex trafficking to foster healing and well-being, yet research on long-term support remains limited. Peer support and survivor leader models offer a promising approach by leveraging individuals with lived experience to provide care to and create mutually beneficial relationships with survivors. This study examined the role and impact of peer support in aftercare for survivors of sex trafficking.
