Student Sense of Belonging at a Commuter University

Description: This study explores factors influencing sense of belonging (SBC) among post-traditional and commuter students at a Hispanic-Serving Institution in California. Using 2020 survey data (N = 1,076) and path analysis, findings show campus resources and communication skills enhance SBC, while limited resources, childhood hypermobility, and grade level negatively impact SBC.
