Camp Counselor Volunteers

The Arthritis Foundation is currently recruiting volunteers for camp counselor positions for a Utah Juvenile Arthritis summer camp for children ages 8-17. Our JA camps give kids with arthritis and related childhood rheumatic diseases the chance to make lifelong friends, gain a greater understanding of their own diagnosis, increase independence and self-confidence, and discover new skills and interests. This is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a career in healthcare to interact with pediatric patients and medical professionals in a non-clinical setting.

What: Camp KODA (Kids Out to Defeat Arthritis)

When: July 27– July 31, 2026 (this is an overnight camp)

Where: Emigration Canyon, UT

In the past, we have assisted students in pre-med, education, nursing, social work, human development, child life, kinesiology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy programs receive practicum hours for volunteering. If this is something that your programs offer, we are happy to assist.
