About Us: Summit Counseling Solutions is an amazing team of innovators and collaborators dedicated to helping adolescents and their families! Our outpatient Day Treatment (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide a uniquely designed treatment environment to help adolescents (ages 12-18) achieve and maintain safety, stabilization, and learn DBT-based coping skills. Our clinical, programming, education, and administrative teams work interdependently to support treatment goals for both clients and the overall milieu.

Summary of Position: We are looking for a dynamic, licensed therapist specializing in adolescent mental/behavioral health to provide individual, family, and group therapy as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The primary goal is to maintain safety and stabilization in an outpatient level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of clients in Day Treatment (PHP) and IOP programs.
- Develop mental health assessments, treatment plans, transition plans, weekly progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with agency policies.
- Conduct individual and family sessions weekly, focusing on trauma and attachment, and lead workshops for families as assigned.
- Facilitate PHP and IOP group therapy sessions, including experiential therapy groups.
- Maintain in-office availability: 40 hours/week.
Qualifications:
- Current Utah State Licensure (ACMHC, CSW, AMFT) or Master’s-level candidate pending graduation.
- Working knowledge of or willingness to pursue certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and trauma-focused modalities.
- Experience conducting evidence-based family therapy.
- Interest in developing skills to lead impactful experiential therapy groups.
