Mental Health Advocate - Camp Tuttle
Overview
Camp Tuttle is a residential co-ed summer camp in the Wasatch Mountains outside of Salt Lake City.
We are currently seeking qualified undergraduate and master’s students in mental health-related fields (e.g., social work, psychology, education, recreation leadership) to apply for our Mental Health Advocate position this summer. This role provides students with a hands-on opportunity to apply their education in a real-world setting while working with youth (ages 7-17) and young adults (ages 18-25) in an outdoor camp environment.
Collaborate, plan, and design a program that offers counselors and campers workshops, activities, and discussion opportunities surrounding positive mental health practices like emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, coping skills, and self care promotion.
Compensation
This is a paid position ($22/hour starting wage) with room and board provided during camp sessions.
