Healthy Bluffdale Coalition Co-Facilitator
Pay Range: Starting $15.00-25.00 / hour based on experience (Grant Funded)

General Purpose:
This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a meaningful public health initiative while developing valuable skills in facilitation and community engagement. Under the general supervision of the coalition coordinator and Bluffdale City this position serves as a co-facilitator to the Healthy Bluffdale Coalition. The Healthy Bluffdale Coalition is a community-informed, data-driven community group following an evidence-based prevention process called Communities that Care. As such this position will work closely with the coalition coordinator, key leaders, faith-based groups, local school leadership, community volunteers, and other stakeholders to help develop, facilitate, and implement the goals and objectives of the Healthy Bluffdale Coalition.
Hours: 10-19.5 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
a. Must be proficient in the use of Google Docs
b. Have knowledge and skills around facilitation
c. Desire to become familiar with State and local laws and legal processes associated
with duties described above with maintenance of public records, public meeting requirements,
and documents
d. Must possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, daily access to
a reliable vehicle
e. Be able to work occasional weekends and attend community events
f. Must be willing to complete a criminal background check

This position is funded in full through a grant provided by the Salt Lake County Health Department. As such, future employment is contingent upon the continuation of grant funding. Currently, only one year has been funded for current position.
