The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic organization with a mission to accompany, serve and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons. JRS undertakes services at national and regional levels with the support of an international office in Rome. JRS works in more than 50 countries worldwide to meet the educational, health, psycho-social and emergency needs of more than 630,000 refugees and other forcibly displaced persons regardless of race, ethnic origin or religious beliefs.
