Bio

Dr. Larry L. Smith was a faculty member at the College of Social Work for 50 years.  During that time, he was the Director of the Part-Time MSW Program, Admissions, the MSW Program, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors.  He is the author or co- author of three books, three book contributions, and 26 refereed journal articles.  Dr. Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been licensed before as both a Marriage and Family Counselor and Supervisor.  He is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies and the Sigma Chi Fraternity.  His practice specializations include crisis intervention, couples therapy, marriage and family counseling, and dysfunctional behavior.
