Bio

Helane is Associate Professor/Lecturer Emeritus at the University of Utah and a visiting professor at Management Center, Innsbruck, Austria.  Prior to her retirement from the College of Social Work she was Director of MSW Field Education and instrumental in the College’s international social work initiatives.  She served on CSWE’s Council on Global Learning, Research and Practice, presented at numerous national and international conferences and was a guest lecturer at schools of social work in Finland and India.
