Clinical Assistant

We have immediate openings for a full time Clinical Assistant position at The OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center in the Bountiful, Utah area (15 minutes north of Downtown Salt Lake). We are an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and other anxiety spectrum disorders. We provide specialized treatment through Behavioral Skills Training in order to help relieve and strengthen children, teens and adults.

This is a great position for individuals who are pursuing an advanced degree in Clinical Therapy, Psychology or Social Work. You will be providing clinical support by tracking and monitoring clients face-to-face during their treatment work as assigned, supporting and encouraging the client, and providing gathered feedback to therapists regarding the client’s progress. There will also be opportunity to facilitate a semi-structured weekly interview to clients to gather data in a continuing research.

Other tasks include writing and auditing case notes, assisting with program improvement tasks, and various program affiliated responsibilities. Candidates should have an in interest in working with mental health issues and in supporting those who struggle with anxiety and/OCD.

Job type: Full-Time Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Requirements:• Have worked in related field with 1-2 years of full-time social sciences/behavioral health experience• Positive and a hard worker• Know how to use Microsoft Word (can at least type 30 words per minute) • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred in Social Sciences)

Compensation:$13-$15/hour depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or behavioral field required from an regionally accredited college or university.
  • Must meet the requirements for the title of QMRP as specified in ICF-MR Part 483.430, Condition of Participation: Facility Staffing.
  • One year of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must meet Federal, State and local position proficiency requirements.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
  • Must be capable of lifting fifty pounds.
