Study Dates: 2000 Study Description: The purpose of this study was to examine the extent of overrepresentation (disproportionality) of juvenile minorities in the Utah Juvenile Justice System and to determine if systemic racial bias is present. The researchers examined pre-existing records and conducted interviews and focus groups with youth and juvenile justice professionals.
