Mindful Pain Management Study

Mindful Pain Management

About the Study:

We are currently inviting people with a chronic pain condition who are taking prescription pain medication to participate in this study. With this study our goal is to enhance pain management by using mindfulness-based interventions to help chronic pain patients cope with pain and improve their daily lives. Those who participate will receive 4 weekly mindfulness sessions led by a therapist at no cost and be financially compensated for their time spent in this study.

This study is being conducted remotely through the University of Utah, so you can participate from the comfort of your own home!

Participation in research is always your decision and completely voluntary. This study will not ask you to change your current treatments or medications; it is only intended to give you additional tools to help you cope with your chronic pain.

If you have questions or are interested in learning more about the study, please give us a call at 801-477-6617 or email us at research@mindfultranscendence.com.
