Mental Health Therapist

Chapters & Seasons launched in Spring 2022 as a holistic mental health and wellness center and we are looking for passionate and hard-working individuals to join our grassroots organization. We are a center for counseling & crafted healing modalities focused on supporting clients to find healthy patterns of living which are in line with their values, helping them heal from past experiences, and assisting them to find their purpose and desires in life. We offer one-on-one and couples therapy, yoga therapy, massage therapy, coaching, and community building through workshops, groups, classes, and retreats. Management Team: Our Clinical Director, Camille Hawkins, LCSW, is a perinatal and reproductive mental health therapist and primarily serves women during the childbearing years, specializing in pregnancy loss, infertility, birth trauma, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and sexual abuse. Our Wellness Director, Angie Van Wagoner, C-IAYT, is a certified yoga therapist and specializes in supporting clients in their healing from traumatic experiences using movement, breath, and somatic processing. Other therapists at our practice specialize in couple's work, faith transitions, LGBTQ support, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. 

Camille & Angie are both community builders and find joy in bringing people together for connection and healing. They have both started and led successful, thriving businesses and are ecstatic about this new mental health and wellness center they have launched. Position Overview: Our Mental Health Therapists provide outpatient individual, couple, and group therapy. We are currently looking for associate-level or fully-licensed therapists who are interested in joining a Utah-based group practice focused on an evidence-based holistic approach to health and wellness. Practices will include individual mental health therapy, yoga therapy, meditation, and other mind-body practices such as qigong, exploring nature, dance therapy, music therapy, sound healing, wellness retreats, community healing events. We are searching for clinicians who are trauma-informed, anti-racist, social justice-minded, and ready to be a part of a dynamic, fun, creative, and collaborative team. Reports to: Clinical Director

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site and/or telehealth clinical counseling services to patients of Chapters & Seasons as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. 
  • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
  • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Chapters & Seasons.
  • Respond to clients’’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours on weekdays or 48 hours if over a weekend or holiday whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Chapters & Seasons website.  Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients.. 
  • Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, etc.) as necessary.
  • Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by Chapters & Seasons or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion. Keep client files accurate and up to date.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings as directed by Chapters & Seasons.
  • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Chapters & Seasons. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Align with Chapters & Season's mission, vision, and values.
  • Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.
  • Must be punctual in reporting to work.
  • Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work;and
  • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or CMHC) in the State of Utah. A copy must be provided.
  • Available to hold at least 15 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Chapters & Seasons.
  • Be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Trainings and certifications around trauma, women’s issues, and/or perinatal or reproductive mental health beneficial
