Project Read Volunteers

Project Read of Salt Lake County is seeking individuals interested in helping adults learn to read! We have two volunteer opportunities. 

One-on-One Tutoring: Meet with an adult literacy student to improve English literacy skills and assist them in using those skills to meet self-identified goals.

Lab Volunteers: Assist the Project Read Literacy Specialists in teaching small groups of students and help in lab with their personal reading and writing projects.

Interested applicants can reach us at info@projectreadutah.org. Locations and hours are flexible, although we typically ask for about 3 hours a week if possible. Those hours can be completed anytime that works for both the volunteer and the students they are serving.
