Empowering Relief Counseling, PLLC (ERC), is a small group private practice in Murray, Utah (a suburb of Salt Lake City). We opened our doors in 2017 as a group of 3 and have grown to serve about 400 families in our community every month! We have a niche in treating marginalized, queer, and intersectional clients including prioritizing the holistic health of women and children. Our mission is to provide clinical services to improve skills, encourage healthy processing, build on strengths, and facilitate growth. Licensure Requirements (as applicable):

LCSW, CSW, ACMHC, CMHC, MFT, and LMFT licensed in the State of Utah

We are located in Murray, Utah and we are currently seeing clients by telehealth only. We have a DHS-approved process for practitioners to apply and work from home or we have an option to give a furnished office to our practitioners.

Salary is competitive but depends on experience.

Weekly supervision is provided for pre-licensed individuals and biweekly supervision is provided for new (fully licensed) practitioners for their first year of employment.

Our practitioners have full autonomy over their schedules. Most of our practitioners work Monday-Thursday averaging 6-7 hours per day. All staff are expected to attend our weekly staff meetings from 2-3pm on Wednesdays and one 4-hour meeting every quarter – usually on Fridays from 8am -12pm. Occasional additional meetings happen as needed. Full-time practitioners complete an average of 25 sessions per week. We do offer a small Company benefits package and other incentives like paid time off are considered when we craft each practitioner’s employee contract. We also offer comradery through scheduled events outside of work time and are continuing creativity with those being COVID-safe.
