Licensed Therapist

We are happy to share with you a great position for a recently licensed or experienced social worker, LMFT, or psychologist. As part of our (UNC Charlotte, Ohio State University) DoD grant, we are hiring two licensed therapists to run the group therapy interventions at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The position includes a very competitive salary and benefits, manageable client load, and positive work environment, with a chance to help military service members! Depending on interest, the therapists may also engage in research with UNC Charlotte and Ohio State collaborators as part of the position. The persons who fill these positions will become UNC Charlotte employees, but be stationed at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA area). The grant includes advanced training in dialectical behavior and group brief cognitive behavioral therapies with the leading experts in the field. Positions will last up to 4 years. We can consider providers requiring supervision (e.g., postdoc) on a case-by-case basis. The ad is here: We appreciate any efforts to share this with recent alum or others in your networks. For questions, please contact the grant PI Robert Cramer, PhD, at UNC Charlotte:
