Facilitator
We are seeking a part-time facilitator to co-facilitate peer support groups for students in middle school, highschool, and college. If you are passionate about the mental health of students, we welcome your application to join our enthusiastic team of professionals.
Who we are
We are a Utah-based startup company—building preventative mental health solutions
for students. We deliver interventions and education drawn from clinical and positive
psychology in group-based settings and using an app and web technologies. World-renowned
psychologists, Ed and Carol Diener developed our content. The Diener's have conducted
randomized controlled trials on this content, which decreased participants' stress,
anxiety, and depression and increased life satisfaction, memory, attention, and enjoyment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
● Facilitation of student support groups in person and via Zoom
● Manage activities related to the delivery of content for our student group sessions.
● Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills with team members, student participants,
and external stakeholders.
● Maintain confidentiality of all information related to student participants, clinical
staff, company leadership, and emergency protocol improvement.
● Collect and apply feedback from participants for future iterations of our sessions.
● Work in a diverse and inclusive environment; includes contact with employees, student
interns, customers, and vendors.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree
● Must understand, read, and follow written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions
● Must possess basic computer skills to use, basic correspondence with demonstrated
proficiency in GSUITE, Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets, Google Slide, Google Calendar,
Zoom
● Must be able to remain calm and be personable, articulate, knowledgeable, and professional
in presenting oneself in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications
● Current graduate student, or recent graduate in the areas of psychology, counseling,
coaching, or related fields of study.
● Mental Health Licensure not necessary but preferred.
● Bilingual written and oral skills in English/Spanish preferred
Additional Details
● $17-$30 per hour depending on experience and licence
● Starting at part-time ~20-25 hours per week, with room to grow
● Hours are roughly 9-5 Mountain Standard Time
● Work can be 100% remote. Location in the MST time zone preferred but not required.
