Utah Foster Care Trainer

Utah Foster Care Part-time Trainer in Eastern Utah

Position Type:      Part Time (20 Hours per week) + 401(k) and PTO

Location:               Eastern Utah (Price, Moab, Blanding)

Salary:                   $20,500 to $26,500 per year depending on experience

Duties include:

Training potential and current foster/adoptive families

Data entry and reporting

Ongoing support of trainees

Curriculum review/development

Organizing in-service trainings for current foster families

Regional coordination with Division of Child and Family Services and other community partners

Job qualifications and requirements:

Master’s degree in Human Sciences field or commensurate combination of education and experience (Experience with a non-profit or child welfare agency and/or knowledge of DCFS foster care/adoption policy, procedure and licensing is preferred)

Familiarity with evidenced-based and trauma-informed curriculums

Public speaking and presentation skills necessary

Skilled in PowerPoint (or similar programs), Excel, and online presentation platforms (Zoom, GoToMeeting, Crowdcast, etc)

Valid Driver’s License and reliable registered transportation required

On-site and remote work

Evenings and some weekends

Some travel required
