ROOTs Transition, located in Park City, Utah, serves females 14-18 years old who have attachment, relational and/or developmental trauma utilizing a hybrid model of outdoor reflection and residential integration. We are a small community of individuals dedicated to providing intentional programming with a trauma informed approach. Reclaiming Our Original Truths (ROOTs) serves as a guiding principle for our clients in their healing process.

As a therapist at ROOTs, you will impact the lives of our clients by building relationships through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and acting as a role model. You will facilitate therapeutic treatment plans for our clients and provide group therapy to support their healing process. You will be a part of supporting positive change in family systems by conducting weekly family therapy. At ROOTs we want to support your career growth by offering training in NeuroAffect Relational Model (NARM), which is the foundation of our clinical approach.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Must be 21 years old
● Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or similar field.
● Current licensure as LCSW, LMFT or CMHC in the State of Utah preferred; willing to consider recent graduates based on experience.
● Trained in EMDR or Brainspotting
● Familiarity or training with the NARM modality is a plus
● Family therapy experience
● Experience working with adolescent females (preferred, but not required)
● Experience in wilderness or RTC (preferred, but not required)
● Customer service oriented
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Strong organizational skills
● Willing to work weekends and holidays
● Strong work ethic
● Valid driver’s license
● Able to pass a background check and drug screening

Salary: Starting at $65,000 annually (depending on experience, education, and licensure)
