Therapist

Provo Canyon School is a residential mental health treatment center that serves youth struggling with emotional, behavioral and academic challenges. We serve both boys and girls ages 8 through 18 and have gender-specific programs for boys and girls at two distinct and separate locations. For almost 50 years, we have continued to enhance, expand and improve services and resources for families and students.

As a full-time therapist on our inter-disciplinary team, you'll help Provo Canyon School utilize our Acuity-Based Care model to identify and continually re-assess the strengths and needs of individual students.

You'll be responsible to complete the initial treatment plan and update it at least monthly. Parents and sponsors will give input. Since you'll need to report to them on the student's progress, objectives should be measurable.

To provide effective individual, group, and family therapy, you'll need to have demonstrated knowledge of adolescent growth and development, including normal vs abnormal behavior. Some of our students have chemical dependencies, so effective knowledge and application of treatment plans are crucial.

At Provo Canyon School, you'll get to work with an amazing team, have plenty of room to develop and grow, and feel good about the work you do each day.

Provo Canyon School offers an authentically competitive benefits package, paid time off, free meals, tuition reimbursement, discounted gym membership, and more! Compensation for this position starts at $45K - $61K, DOE.
