Primary Therapist

The ideal candidate will have strong case conceptualization and clinical assessment skills; have a track record of skilled delivery of individual, family, and group therapy; be familiar with the working dynamic between program, client, family, and referring professional; demonstrate competence in evidence-based treatment for young adults; and display strong therapeutic, communication, and rapport-building skills. In addition, applicants should be familiar with an array of clinical, neurodevelopmental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.

We are looking for a clinician with high social/emotional competence, ideally interested in playing a key role in the continued growth & development of the organization, and looking toward growth opportunities. 

The success of STRiV is based on the quality and integrity of the team. Our next therapist will embrace the team spirit, display leadership qualities, and play an integral role in the team’s continued development. Creativity and experiential/adventure-based approaches is a plus.

Ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries is a must.

  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy
  • Case conceptualization and management,
  • Guide & educate mentors on treatment plan support
  • Masters or doctorate in MFT, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent
  • Licensed in the State of Utah, or working on licensure
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive and self-directed
  • Customer service oriented
