Career Ambassador

The Career Center is hiring for it’s 2019-2020 Career Ambassadors. We are seeking motivated students who have an interest in career development. This role is is the first-point of contact for students who come into our office and provide on-the-spot career advising. This is a work-study preffered position, however we are open to all students applying.

•Provide one-on-one guidance to U students onresume and cover letters, job search tools, careerfair prep, and interview etiquette
•Plan and execute signature events
•Co-present career-related workshops for campuspartners, classes, and student groups
•Represent CPDC by tabling at Career Fairs & largecampus programs

•University student (undergraduate and graduate)in any major with a minimum 3.0 GPA
•Required to work at least 10 hours/week (nomore than 15 hours/week), in the CPDC officeand staffing sponsored programs
•Must be available for entire academic year2019-2020; Fall and Spring semesters
•Must be available the week before Fall semesterfor mandatory Ambassador Training (Monday,August 12th--Friday, August 16th 2019)
