Youth Mentor

Pinnacle Youth Services is looking for an individual to help be a mentor for children/youth that are in foster care. PYS is licensed with the State of Utah to provide mental health and mentoring services to children that are placed into foster homes. The goal is to work with children/youth on specific treatment goals in order to help them return home to their families. The mentor position would not provide "therapy" but would help the child with the goals they may be working on in therapy. 

Job description:

Face to face mentoring with children/teens in the community or their foster home.

Role modeling for them positive peer relationships, managing stress, school concerns and family struggles. 

Transportation of child/teen required

Transport child/teens to appointments or activities

Make your own hours (20 hours a week).

Working with foster parents to address issues that may arise


Previous work with children/teens a plus

Bachelors degree completed or near completion preferred

Use of your own vehicle required 

Must be 21 years of age

Pay: 15$/hour
