W.D. Goodwill Initiatives on Aging

The College of Social Work’s W.D. Goodwill Initiatives on Aging was created to promote practice, policy, and research in aging that will help to improve the quality of life for older adults and their families.

Through education, research, service, and community collaboration, the Goodwill Initiatives promote activities that increase our awareness of societal aging issues, provide services that enable older adults to remain independent within our community, and train future generations of geriatric social workers familiar with the most current research and the field’s best practices.
