Support for Academic Success

Support for Academic Success is an academic support service that is student-led and staff-supported. ITSW experiential scholars work with the College’s diversity coordinator to provide social work students with:

  • Study skills help
  • Time management advice
  • Reading skills support
  • Feedback on critical analysis in college papers
  • Strategies on how to understand course requirements/syllabi
  • Advice regarding patterns with mechanical and/or grammatical errors made in a paper
  • Advice on how to navigate the College of Social Work
